Casual Early Childhood Educator Position CC#26-09-09 The Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education is accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year for the Casual Early Childhood Educator list. This is for day-to-day work only. Rate of Pay: $16.75/hr. to $17.41/hr. Locations: Various Schools within the Chignecto-Central Regional Center for Education Geographical Area: Pictou County, Cumberland County, Municipality of East Hants and Colchester County Requirements: A diploma or degree in early childhood education from a recognized institution. Recent experience (within last 5 years) working with pre-school children in an early learning environment; and, Current certification in First Aid/CPR-C Applicants with disabilities who require assistance during the hiring process may contact Employee Health at employeehealth@ccrce.ca or 902-896-5799 to request reasonable accommodations. All employees require a criminal record check of the vulnerable sector. The CCRCE requires an original check dated within six (6) months from your date of hire. All employees also require a child abuse register check. The CCRCE requires an original check dated within six (6) months from your date of hire.
