Terms and conditions
The rules that keep Jobs.ca useful, fair, and safe for candidates and employers.
Last updated: July 29, 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
By using Jobs.ca, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and provide accurate account information.
If you use Jobs.ca for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that organization.
2. Accounts and access
Keep access links and connected accounts secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from a Jobs.ca security failure.
Employer permissions come from active organization memberships. Candidate and employer access are not global roles and must not be shared to bypass workspace controls.
3. Candidate use
Candidates may search, save, receive alerts, create profiles, upload resumes, and apply for jobs. You control the visibility of candidate information through available settings.
Jobs.ca does not promise employment, an interview, or a response. Hiring decisions belong to employers.
4. Employer use and job content
Employers must post real, current opportunities and provide accurate organization, location, pay, application, and job information. Content must comply with employment, human rights, consumer-protection, privacy, anti-spam, and other applicable laws.
Jobs.ca may review, pause, reject, label, or remove misleading, discriminatory, unsafe, duplicated, expired, or unlawful content. Verification identifies checks completed by Jobs.ca; it is not a guarantee about an employer or job.
5. Plans, paid services, and promotion
The Starter plan is available without a payment card and is intended for occasional hiring. The Growth plan is intended for organizations that need Job Sync, higher-volume tools, broader distribution, analytics, and support.
When paid services are enabled, the checkout will show the price, currency, billing interval, taxes, renewal terms, and cancellation controls before purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a written offer.
Sponsored placements will be clearly labelled and kept separate from organic relevance ranking. No hiring outcome is guaranteed unless a separate written guarantee explicitly says otherwise.
6. Applications and third-party services
Some applications are completed on an employer or applicant-tracking-system website. Jobs.ca is not responsible for a third party's availability, hiring process, privacy practices, or content, but we welcome reports about broken or unsafe application links.
7. Acceptable use
Do not scrape protected information, send spam, impersonate others, upload malware, evade access controls, misuse resumes, discriminate unlawfully, interfere with the service, or use Jobs.ca to facilitate fraud or harm.
Automated access requires written permission unless it is clearly allowed by our public crawling instructions.
8. Content and licences
You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Jobs.ca a limited licence to host, reproduce, format, distribute, and display that content as needed to provide the service and the visibility you choose.
Do not submit content you do not have the right to use. Jobs.ca branding, software, and original site content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Jobs.ca at any time. Jobs.ca may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, non-payment, repeated policy violations, or serious misuse. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a way to ask for review.
10. Service limits
Jobs.ca is provided on an as-available basis. We work to keep job information accurate and the service reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, candidate suitability, or hiring outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jobs.ca is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product or law changes. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way and will show a revised date.
Questions about these terms can be sent through the support form.
