The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse facilitates the transition of children and adolescents between hospital and community services. They provide crisis counselling, suicide prevention, and short-term follow-up care to reduce hospital bed utilization. Candidates must be registered with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as an RN or RPN. A minimum of two years of recent experience in a child and adolescent psychiatric or crisis stabilization setting is required.
