Job summary
Position Details: Casual Call-In, Vacant Positions (2) Wage: Starting at $17.80 per hour (commensurate with individual education and experience, as it relates to the position). Location: Harry J. Enns Wetland Discovery Centre, Oak Hammock Marsh near Stonewall, MB Closing Deadline: Open until filled What You Will Do We’re looking for passionate and knowledgeable Nature Interpreters to join our team at the Harry J. Enns Wetland Discovery Centre. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high‑quality visitor services, public education programs, and school programs that highlight the unique resources, wildlife, and themes of the Centre. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: You’ll engage with visitors of all ages, helping them connect with the natural world through meaningful experiences. As part of your work, you’ll develop a strong understanding of the Centre, the Oak Hammock Marsh Wildlife Management Area, and Ducks Unlimited Canada. Requirements * Rotating shift work is required on weekdays, weekends, and some holidays. * Physical abilities to perform all aspects of the position. * Must be eligible to work in Canada. * Must have your own transportation. Assets * A background or strong knowledge in ecology, zoology, natural history or related topic * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and POS systems. * Good communication skills. * Bilingualism (French/ English) How to Apply Working for DUC is a career highlight for many staff.
