Develop employment opportunities for clients Provide employment and training needs assessment and case management Develop Service Plans Provide instruction, individual support and advocacy Facilitate workshops Complete reporting requirements Collaborate with local training providers Work with local employers to provide placements Monitor client’s employment retention for 365 days Qualifications Have a College Diploma in a Human/Social Services or Business field, with a Career Practitioner/Job Development certificate an asset Have a minimum 1-year experience in a related field Be proficient in MS Office and be familiar with databases Access to reliable transportation, as some travel may be required Ability to manage exposure to vicarious traumatic stress Eligibility Eligible to work in Canada Vacant Position Benefits Salary: Starting at $24.25 per hour. What you’ll do

The consultant will support job seekers and employers by developing employment opportunities and providing case management and training needs assessments. Key duties include facilitating workshops, creating service plans, and monitoring client employment retention for one year.

Requirements

Candidates must have a College Diploma in Human/Social Services or Business and at least one year of related experience. Proficiency in MS Office and access to reliable transportation are also required.
