Job summary
Job Description Sacré-Davey is seeking an organized, self-directed Document Control Administrator to support engineering projects, vendor documentation, electronic review workflows, and project reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable managing competing priorities, and confident working with project teams, clients, and vendors. This is a temporary, full-time position with the potential to transition to a permanent opportunity based on project requirements and business needs. Key Responsibilities * Maintain accurate document registers and reporting data, including status reports, metrics, and dashboards for Project Managers, Engineering, and Project Controls. * Coordinate internal document reviews, track deadlines, and support timely consolidation and return of reviewed documents. * Maintain and support SharePoint document libraries, lists, views, and project collaboration areas. * Support EDMS setup in SharePoint and continuous improvement, including document control procedures, templates, workflows, and Microsoft 365 automation/notifications. * Ensure project records comply with client and SDE standards and respond professionally to document and information requests. * Manage project and vendor documentation from receipt through final issue, including document numbering, revisions, metadata, transmittals, filing, and distribution. * Coordinate vendor document requirements, deliverable lists, submission schedules, review cycles, status tracking, and follow-up with vendors and project teams. Qualifications * Experience in document control, vendor document management, or project administration within an engineering/project environment; related post-secondary education is an asset. * Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel; SharePoint experience is strongly preferred. * Working knowledge of document numbering, revision control, transmittals, vendor data/deliverables, metadata, and electronic review workflows. * Excellent organization, accuracy, and communication skills, with the ability to independently prioritize multiple assignments and follow up on outstanding deliverables. Nice to Have / Assets * Power Query and advanced Excel for data cleaning, consolidation, registers, and reporting. * Power Automate or other workflow automation experience. * Power BI or other dashboard/reporting tools. * Bluebeam Studio or similar electronic document review/collaboration tools. * Experience improving document control, vendor data management, or reporting processes. Additional Information Work Location: Remote within British Columbia or Alberta. Candidates with a presence in or near Vancouver are preferred.
