The peer mentor will support Indigenous students by helping them navigate the college environment and encouraging engagement in social events. They will also assist with Indigenous Access Services (IAS) events and maintain the organization of the Indigenous Centre. Candidates must be registered in a post-secondary program at Okanagan College with at least one year of completed study. A basic understanding of Aboriginal people and culture, along with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, is required.
