Job Qualifications Required Qualifications Security Officer Applied certificate Experience Previous: No previous experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to deal with aggressive/violent individuals Ability to work independently Basic computer skills Communication skills Interpersonal skills Valid drivers license Other Information Activities & abilities specific to SKHA (Saskatoon): ability to successfully complete the P.A.R.E. The Security Officer regularly interacts with clients with mental health and psychiatric issues as well as with aggressive and/or violent clients. The incumbent must display compassion for the individuals and an ability to remain calm and take charge in stressful and often emotionally escalated situations.
