Job Details RHA Job Number: GO-00738564-3 Number of Vacancies: 1 Profession: Audiologist Organization: Saskatchewan Health Authority Facility Name: Royal University Hospital Department: Audiology Employment Type: Temporary Employment Term: Full Time Posting Date: March 12, 2024 Closing Date: March 12, 2025 17:00 Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days In a 3 week rotation: 14 shifts of 8.00 hours Rate of Pay: $40.476 to $49.493 (5 step range) Union: HSAS Job Qualifications Required Qualifications Masters Degree in Audiology Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA) Experience Previous experience with cochlear implant assessment/rehabilitation and hearing aid assessment and fitting is an asset. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to carry out diagnostic air and bone conduction abrs Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Ability to work under stress Assessment, programming and follow up for implantable devices including bone conduction hearing devices and cochlear implants Behavioral testing, fitting, verification and validation of amplification using established protocols Effective oral and written communication skills Interpersonal skills Minor hearing aid modification and ear mold fittings Organizational skills Problem solving skills Requires knowledge and demonstrated proficiency of all audiological procedures and hearing/vestibular disorders for all ages, as appropriate including; early hearing detection and intervention protocols Other Information Field Hours Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.
