This will include screening and assessment activities, delivering informative dynamic group workshops, developing community awareness and involvement, case and file management. You will be working collaboratively with other professional and community groups to provide comprehensive services to a specific client population. Job Qualifications Required Qualifications Chemical Dependency diploma Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Advanced presentation skills Case management skills Counseling skills Knowledge of the health region and community resources Other Information Field Hours Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria. Additional Information Knowledge of methadone assisted recovery services and Saskatchewan Health Methadone Guidelines is preferred. The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons.
