Registered Practical Nurse, General Internal Medicine (Job ID: 3872)
The RPN role in the Internal Medicine portfolio is to provide direct nursing care to a diverse patient population, including Internal Medicine, Acute Care of the Elderly, Stroke and Neurology. This includes patients with multiple medical co-morbidities and social complexity with special focus on the Inner City Health population. The RPN works within a changing environment and as part of the inter-professional team to advocate for and promote wellness while ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and ethical nursing care. The RPN shares his/her knowledge and expertise with others and contributes to the advancement of nursing practice excellence. The RPN continually enhances his/her practice and competencies through ongoing learning, education, experience and reflective practice. QUALIFICATIONS:
