Your Role on our Team: Providing support to the Contracts Manager on all costing and budgeting related to residential low-rise and mid-rise construction.

In this role, you will:

  • Providing quantity surveying and quantity takeoff
  • Performing detailed, timely, and well-organized cost estimates for low rise and high rise buildings
  • Providing and maintaining unit pricing and database for material and labor costs
  • Preparation of tender documents
  • Recording, evaluating, and comparing bids from multiple vendors and subcontractors
  • Analyzing drawings and specifications
  • Creating and presenting reports to upper management

We would like you to have:

  • Relevant post-secondary education
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office suite; outlook, word, excel
  • Ability to work with estimating software
  • Highly detail-oriented, Self-directed, organized, and proactive
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
