Function Summary

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, this role is responsible for all aspects of physiotherapy treatment and care of patients.

Is committed to living the Mission and Values of Bruyère.

Is committed to patient and resident safety, on-going learning and continuous quality improvement.


Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an educational program approved by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
  • Practicing member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Successful completion of the mandatory FIM (Functional Independence Measure) certification provided by the hospital within the established timeline
  • Fluent in English and French (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement.)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years clinical experience and current clinical knowledge pertinent to the position
  • Experience in Rehabilitation
  • Demonstrated interest in continuing education
  • Ability to work independently and with members of an interdisciplinary team
