As a Project Coordinator, your role will be an integral part of our IT Project Services team supporting the IT Program Manager(s) and Business Management. You will oversee administrative tasks, communicate with the project teams, collect the status of project tasks, provide teams with required information and maintain project documentation. This will be 10 month contract position.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Juggle multiple deliverables and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure all parts of assigned projects are processed, organized, and progressing according to predetermined timelines and deliverable dates
  • Liaise with project teams, management and vendors to align, confirm and approve project requirements, scopes, and objectives
  • Assist Program Manager(s) in coordinating internal and external resources, tracking tasks and budgetary items, scheduling meetings, following up with meeting notes/actions, updating RAID logs.
  • Follow up with the team to ensure outstanding actions/risks are completed/mitigated by the team members.
  • Analyze project progress and collect the status updates from the team, report them to Program Manager(s).
  • Assist Program Manager(s) in assigning roles and tasks to dedicated team members, notify them about their tasks.
  • Assist Program Manager(s) in collecting and analyzing project related information, provide ad hock reports upon request

Your Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain good working relationships with team members and program stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines / proven ability to meet hard deadlines.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g., Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.).

Your Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in IT, Engineering, Business Administration or Finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a projectized environment.
  • Understanding project management methodologies (e.g., waterfall, hybrid).
