In accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values, and strategic directions of PHSA safety, including both patient and employee safety, is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at PHSA's Agencies/Divisions/Services, and as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.
The Analyst, Patient Safety Review Office, is responsible for coordinating the intake, triage and processes surrounding patient safety event reviews. The Analyst triages patient safety events within the agency and provides related summary of facts to the management team. The Analyst reviews concerns of patient safety, and other hazard events, near misses and good catches. The Analyst coordinates, liaises, and provides review processes support to managers. The role also promotes a culture of quality and patient safety across the Health Authority, performing functions under a patient centric lens, specifically those arising from patient safety event reviews under their leadership.

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time - Until return of incumbent
Salary Range: $60,247 - $86,863 /year. The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate's relevant education and experience, and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan. Salary will be prorated accordingly for part time roles.
