Security Officer - Casual on call (Secret Clearance)

We are looking for security guards to work at a various sites in the Surrey/Langley/Aldergrove area

Shift times vary so open availability is preferred.

Due to the nature of the sites, security guards are required to obtain a Secret Clearance from the Canadian Government. This is an in depth process and can take up to 6 months to clear.

Wages are up to $27.53 (dependent on site)

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Alarm response
• Administrative duties
• Ensure safety of staff out in the field
• Radio operation
• Run background checks from information provided by field staff
• Answering phone queries and problem solving
• First responder in building emergencies such as evacuations and medical emergencies
• Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols.

Your Must Haves …

• Valid BC Security License
• Have lived in Canada for a minimum of 10 years due to secret clearance requirements
• OFA 1 or willing to obtain one
• Strong computer/admin skills
• Excellent English oral and written skills
• Class 5 License and personal vehicle
