Eagle's Eye Expediter

Our Food & Beverage outlets offer dynamic and fast-paced work environments, and this role provides an excellent introduction to the food service and tourism industry. The Expediter is a key role, responsible for acting as a central point of communication, delivering food to guests, clearing tables, and continually striving to provide an exceptional guest experience at the Eagle's Eye Restaurant.

You will:

· Ensure food is delivered to guests in a timely and courteous manner

· Promptly clear, clean and reset tables as necessary

· Maintain effective communications within restaurant to provide high levels of guest service

· Ensure exceptional food presentation

· Assist in arranging the physical environment for any special functions

· Clean and stock the dining area to provide a pleasant environment for our guests

· Represent Kicking Horse Mountain Resort professionally and courteously to guests and staff who dine at Eagle's Eye Restaurant

· Perform related duties as requested by supervisors and manager

You:

• Have a passion for food service industry and desire to learn and advance.

· Have Serving It Right, ProServe, or other courses in the responsible service of alcohol.

· Have previous food service experience - an asset.

· Are able to consistently provide a polished and professional appearance to guests.

· Preferably have a comprehensive knowledge of fine food, wine and service.

· Have knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems - asset, not required.

· Have a valid First Aid Ticket (OFA3) - beneficial, not required.

· Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.

· Are able to stand for extended periods of time and lift light objects.

· Can withstand brief exposure to extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, cold, heat) in a mountain environment.
