Hotel Janitor - Full-time

We are looking to fill the position of Hotel Janitor at Fernie Alpine Resort. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be physically capable, and have excellent customer service skills. You Will:

• Ensure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
• Assist and upsell guests at every opportunity
• Standard janitorial duties for common areas including interior windows, bathrooms, mopping, dusting, cleaning, vacuuming and garbage/recycling disposal and restocking
• Housekeeping room attendant support as required
• Laundry service support as required
• Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
• Meeting guest requests in a timely and friendly manner
• Ensure the highest level of service and guest experience
• Provide non-stop teamwork with your teammates and managers
• Other assigned duties as requested by management
• Know and adhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
• Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
• Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
• To perform other tasks and duties that are applicable

You Have:

• Past experience is an asset but not required, we will train!
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment
• Reliable and responsible
• Physically capable with a customer service orientation
