Queen Margaret's School is accepting applications for an Intern Teacher to join our Junior School faculty beginning August 2024. Intern Teachers work in the Junior School to support the day-to-day programs and classroom routines. They support the Junior School with ongoing projects, and other duties as required. Intern Teachers take on special projects as assigned, and the School makes every attempt to tailor project work to the Intern Teacher's areas of interest and skill.

The role includes working at co-curricular and special events as assigned, including some weekends and evenings. Housing and meals may be provided as a taxable benefit, in addition to a salary for the academic year (September to June).
This position is suited to individuals who have recently completed a degree in education. This is an excellent opportunity for newly certified teachers to gain valuable experience and mentorship in their teaching practice.
Candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Education degree and be members of (or eligible for membership) with the BC Teacher Regulation Branch.
