Sales Associate (Casual)
Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Sorting, pricing and displaying donations
· Operating cash register
· Process money and interact payments
· Internal customer service
· General cleaning
· Working in a team setting
· Sales associate
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Certifications:
- Completion of Public School (alternative level of education and experience may be acceptable)
Experience:
- Up to three months of prior related experience including, experience with warehouse processing or goods distribution and knowledge of lifting guideline are an asset.
PREFERRED SKILLS/CAPABILITIES:
. Customer friendly/people skills
· Able to efficiently run cash register and interact machine
· Able to lift 40 pounds and wear steel toed shoes (PPE)
· Able to tolerate dust
· Able to work together with others in respectful manner
Successful candidates, prior to hiring, may be required to provide:
- Background check consent
- A clear vulnerable sector screening
- A clean drivers abstract
- Completion of our online Prasedium Abuse Training and required Health and Safety training
DAYS and HOURS of work:
Expected to work weekdays and some evenings and alternate Saturdays.
THIS IS AN ON-CALL RELIEF POSITION WITH NO REGULAR HOURS OR SHIFT
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, then off the following week. Hours Monday to Wednesday and Saturday are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday & Fridays will be 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
