Where you will be working

Rio Tinto's Strathcona Production Plant is a part of the Atlantic Operations of the Aluminium product group. Our Edmonton, Alberta facility is focused on results and for 40 years we have been playing a part in the global aluminum industry. This facility is responsible for turning byproduct from oil refineries into key ingredients for one of our widely used metals. High quality green petroleum coke (GPC) is purchased from our partners and turned into anode grade calcined coke for use in the aluminum smelting process.
