The School of Public Policy invites applications for Winter 2025 Sessional Instructors to teach in our Master of Public Policy program.

The School of Public Policy is Canada’s leading policy school, which provides hands-on training in Canada and abroad through a Master of Public Policy Program, an Extractive Resource Governance Program, and an Executive Training Program. Its alumni can be found in leadership positions in the private, public and non-profit sectors across Canada.

Our vacant positions include teaching the following course(s):

PPOL 609: Decision Analysis
Winter 2025 Term with lectures on Wednesdays from 1:00 to 4:00pm.

The focus is on the foundations, applications and use of quantitative methods commonly used in decision making in the public and private sectors. Included are methods such as impact analysis, cost-benefit analysis, surveys, game theory and risk management tools.

Position Requirements
The School of Public policy is seeking a candidate to teach this course who has excellent teaching credentials and a demonstrated background in the subject matter for the course. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching, particularly at the post-graduate level, and ideally hold an earned doctoral degree in an area closely related to the course to be taught. Experience as a practitioner would be an asset.
