Job Overview:
We seek a skilled Behaviour Therapist to join our dynamic team in a part-time contract role, contributing expertise to our early intervention programs in daycare centers. This role presents a unique opportunity to positively impact children's lives by providing specialized behaviour strategies in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
As a Behaviour Strategist, you will conduct comprehensive behaviour assessments, develop tailored intervention plans, and implement evidence-based strategies. Your focus will be on fostering a positive and supportive environment for children in daycare settings, enhancing their social skills, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.

Applications are invited for a Temporary Part Time (0.5)Behavioral therapist. Knowledge/Experience with Early Childhood/Kindergarten learning, Individual program planning( IPP's), trauma-informed practices, and social emotional learning would be assets.
Work Environment Requirements:
The position involves occasional walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting/carrying work-related items weighing less than 40 pounds, such as books, papers, and presentation materials. The employee must regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, colour vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Work involves everyday risks and discomforts that require normal safety precautions when operating equipment or performing job duties. May work prolonged or irregular hours and must maintain emotional control under stress. This position may require the employee to work some evenings and weekends, including exposure to noisy and/or disruptive student behaviour. Potential exposure to bodily fluids and frequent childhood illnesses may occur.
