What can you expect?

The Hotel Houseperson provides an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the hotel's public spaces are kept clean and maintained in accordance with the quality standards of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning public spaces areas, washrooms, housekeeping office, storerooms & closets. Vacuuming all corridors and staircases. Replacing guestroom light bulbs.
• Receiving clean linen from truck bay and making sure all soiled linen is regularly emptied from the floor service areas and linen room, sorted and made ready for transport.
• Offering assistance to guests and colleagues in a courteous manner, recording and completing all guest requests as assigned.
• Conducting deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Cleaning the hotel Hot Tub, inside and out.
• Handling all deliveries and loading onto carts for delivery to proper storerooms.
• Instantly reporting and turning over to Housekeeping office any lost and found items.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and able to demonstrate excellent guest service and encourage positive employee relations.
• Accountable for remaining productive and efficient while ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; a team player and a self-starter, yet able to work independently, reliable; responsible and conscientious.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be in excellent physical condition and able to lift very heavy items.
• Current First Aid and CPR preferred.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
