This position will support the Virtual Care Clinic but is located at the Guysborough Memorial Hospital and requires that the successful incumbent works on-site.About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following: Graduate of a business, office information technology, medical office assistant, secretarial course or equivalent combination of education and experience. Medical terminology or willingness to obtain Working knowledge and proficiency with a variety of computer software and programs, specifically Microsoft Office Ability to work in a self-directed environment and also effectively within an interdisciplinary team Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills Demonstrated commitment to self-learning and continuous professional development Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred Please ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.Hours Long assignment, full time position; 70 hours bi-weekly Approximately 12 months Call and shift work required, evenings, nights, and weekends Compensation and Benefits $23.34 - $25.38 Hourly Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
