You will be part of our rapidly growing Infrastructure Design Department, which includes structural, geotechnical, civil, drainage, roadway, rail, and materials disciplines, is a multi-faceted and leading-edge division of Kiewit with best-in-class technical expertise focused on the design-build delivery of infrastructure projects. District Overview Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design-Build team is driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects. Through our integrated design and construction approach, our multi-disciplinary team works together to improve schedule, control costs, and minimize risk. Location This position is based out of our office in Oakville, ON.Responsibilities Providing project support during the proposal/bid and construction phases; working with team members to complete engineering analyses in support of innovative and cost-effective design solutions to geotechnical problems and challenges. Design of Temporary structures in support of ongoing construction Conducting engineering design and analysis using geotechnical data for slope stability, settlement of structures, support of excavation, foundations, groundwater flow, and other civil engineer projects Producing engineering reports, drawings, and detailed calculation packages. Qualifications Ability to travel as needed Ability to work full-time during the summer (approximately May-August 2027), or a longer period Currently pursuing an undergraduate (minimum 3rd year civil engineering) or graduate degree in geotechnical engineering or related degree.
