Position #: 9008342 Expected Start Date: Posted until filled Union: HSAS Facility: Al Ritchie Heritage Community Health Centre City/Town: Regina Department: Chronic Disease Management Collaborative Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: June 26, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 112 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Respiratory Therapist - Diploma $38.647 to $47.144 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: Under the direction of the Primary Health Care Manager, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for general and specialized respiratory care in the assigned areas, as well as assisting with special projects and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment. The incumbent will promote the delivery of patient centred care through the application of professional standards. The position will have specific responsibilities related to patient needs and clinical knowledge. Human Resources Exemption: No Licenses * Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) * Valid Class 5 driver's license Education * Graduate from a Respiratory Therapy training program accredited by the CSRT * Successful completion of an exam approved by the CSRT Competencies * Communication skills * Interpersonal skills * Judgement Skills * Demonstrates ability to show initiative and self-direction. Experience * One (1) year previous related life skills/experience Knowledge & Abilities * Demonstrated knowledge, experience, or training in all of the position duties * Ability to work well both independently and in a team * Ability to respond under pressure. * Ability to function effectively in high stress and in emergency situations * Manages change effectively, demonstrates positive attitude * Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals Other Education and Training * Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) * Experience with Adult education to other care providers an asset Other Information * Registered/eligible with Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapist (SCRT) * Requires a valid driver’s license.
