Position #: 147916 Expected Start Date: October 19, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Swift Current Admin Office City/Town: Swift Current Department: In-Service Education Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: January 31, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Field Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: The Clinical Staff Educator works collaboratively with management/staff at multiple sites to provide or coordinate general staff development and education based on theory and knowledge along with principles and processes of adult learning. They assist in developing, delivering and evaluating educational in-services/activities/programs/workshops. They will promote a culture in which educational learning is valued, evidence and best practice based; where clinical standards are supported. They will support the development/review of policies, procedures, practice changes and initiatives and be expected to use critical thinking skills to select, review, synthesize and apply best practice. This position involves significant computer work, in-depth literature searches, use of multiple media applications, and interactive and online educational materials & is responsible for maintaining the education database, communicating with managers to validate required educational needs and competencies. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience * Requires experience in program/resource development related to needs assessment. * Requires experience in planning, program design, implementation, and evaluation. * Three years' experience related to the clinical area within the past five years * Experience using electronic assessment tools will be considered an asset. * Experience in teaching adults, facilitation skills, and leading group activities Education * Requires or in progress towards a recognized Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing Licenses * Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training * Graduate of an approved Nursing school Competencies * Clinical data analysis skills. Requirements
Candidates must hold a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing and have at least three years of clinical experience within the last five years. A valid Class 5 driver's license and registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan are also required.
