Union: HSAS Facility: Yorkton Community Services - Public Health City/Town: Yorkton Department: Autism Spectrum Disorders ASD Type: Part-time temporary Expected Up to Date: December 31, 2026 FTE: 0.61 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 17 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Speech Language Pathologist - Masters Senior $48.387 to $59.169 Travel Required: No Human Resources Exemption: No Experience * Two years experience working with children with ASD Education * A Baccalaureate/Masters degree in OT, PT, or Speech Language Pathology Licenses * Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training * Training in Applied Behavioral Analysis * Training in normal and abnormal child development * Training in Autism Spectrum Disorder and treatment Competencies * Communication skills * Organizational skills * Problem solving skills * Leadership skills Knowledge and Abilities * Ability to establish/maintain satisfactory working relationships * Commitment to continued learning and professional development. * Works well as a team member & mentor, strong leadership & interpersonal skills * Ability to demonstrate initiative, independent judgment & organizational skills * Decision making through the application of clinical, legal & ethical practice * Ability to perceive and analyze problems and effect innovative solutions * Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook) * Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning Other Information * Registered/eligible with SK Assoc. of SLPs and Audiologists (SASLPA) * Registered/eligible with Canadian Assoc. of SLPs and Audiologists (CASLPA) * Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period. Requires a Baccalaureate or Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology, OT, or PT, and at least two years of experience with children with ASD. Candidates must be registered or eligible for registration with SASLPA and CASLPA.
