Job Description Join Our Growing Ophthalmology Team! Location: Must be willing to work 1 day in Abbotsford and 4–5 days in Chilliwack. This is a full time maternity leave position from now until September 2027 with potential for further employment afterwards. Would you like to be part of an exciting, rapidly growing medical clinic? Our nationally recognized team of ophthalmologists provides a wide range of services, including MSP-covered exams and surgeries, as well as private lens surgery and LASIK. We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic clinic and surgical centre. Key Duties: Greeting patients in person, over the phone, and via email in a professional and supportive manner Billing, invoicing, and processing payments Booking and coordinating patient appointments Supporting physicians and providing patient care assistance Tracking lab results and coordinating follow-ups Providing patients with instructions for diagnostic testing Using the Accuro EMR system Working collaboratively with physicians and team members Supporting clinic systems, workflows, and process improvements Assisting physicians with daily clinical needs Ophthalmic Assistant Experience (asset, training provided if needed): Visual fields OCT imaging Auto-refractions Non-contact tonometry Patient workups Cataract measurements If you do not have direct experience, a strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly on the job are essential. Compensation: $19–$23 per hour Location: Must be willing to work between Abbotsford and Chilliwack, with training provided in both locations.
