Job summary
Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Office Clerk to join our team on a full-time temporary basis at our Administration Office located in St. Paul, AB. Reporting to the Office Coordinator. What you’ll do: * Provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact through front-end reception and exceptional customer service. * Provide professional-level assistance to the Department Support Centre (DSC) Leaders and Team. * Greet, answer, and redirect in-person, phone and email inquiries to the appropriate resource as needed. * Handle daily cash transactions and ensure accurate balancing of Point of Sale reports. * Utilize internal accounting software and other internal systems to complete administrative and financial tasks. * Equity support - assist completion of ownership applications; changes; and / or withdrawals * Account support – respond to general charge account inquiries. * Maintain accuracy, organization, and confidentiality while working with financial and business information. * Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's purpose, vision, mission, values, brand with a focus on safety. * Perform other duties as assigned. Who you are: * You have a minimum Grade 12. * Completion of a post-secondary Office Education or Administration program, or an equivalent combination of training and experience, including accounting knowledge. * Advanced computer proficiency, with experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. * You are able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including remaining seated for extended periods while working at a computer or workstation and regularly lifting up to 50 lbs. * Experience with JD Edwards is considered an asset. * You are confident handling cash and working with financial information accurately. * Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. * Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette. * Ability to manage competing priorities effectively. * Honest, trustworthy, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
