What We Offer * 40 hours per week * $28.48 per hour * 6% vacation pay * Hands-on experience in the gas utility sector * A temporary position for approximately 12 months with potential for permanent opportunities within our company About the Role As a Labourer, you’ll support a dedicated work group with hands-on, physically demanding work. Day-to-day tasks may include: * Performing general labour duties such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and site clean-up * Assisting with construction, service, or maintenance activities related to natural gas systems * Supporting installation, repair, or replacement of gas lines, meters, and related equipment * Handling tools, materials, and equipment, including setup and basic maintenance * Responding to service-related work or emergency situations as required What You Bring * High School Diploma, GED, CAEC, or equivalent * Valid Alberta Class 5 drivers license with clean abstract * Ability to complete pre-employment conditions such as background check and alcohol and drug screening * Ability to work outdoors and handle physically active tasks * Experience as an apprentice gasfitter or work in trades, hydrovac, concrete, general labor, landscaping, construction, mechanical, or field service is an asset About Us We are a leading North American energy provider.
