Job Type: Temporary (Durée déterminée) Reporting to a Global Information Security Director or Manager, the incumbent acts as subject matter expert to the organisation concerning information security technologies and best practices. He works within his team to enable the business to adopt a security by design culture by performing research, testing, evaluating, and deploying security technologies and controls. The Information Security Specialist specializes and is consider as a technical expert in one or more of these areas of expertise: • Data security • Application security • Infrastructure and Network security • Cloud security • Identity and Access Management • Endpoint and Mobile security • Threat and Vulnerability Management • Security Monitoring and Operations Cybersecurity Governance Cybersecurity Risk Management Cybersecurity Vendor Risk Management Cybersecurity Compliance Management Other Duties and Responsibilities Excellent writing and analytical skills Advanced skills in Microsoft Products Education Required Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field required. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Experience Required Minimum of one (1) years of experience in IT required. Minimum of one (1) years experience designing and deploying technologies in one or more of the focus areas: Data and Application Security, Technology Security or Identity and Access Management. Experience with manufacturing environments. Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written, required. Certification/Licensure Required Industry certification (ISACA, ISC2 or other) is an asset. Skills Required Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one. Ability to effectively influence others to modify their opinions, plans or behaviors. Understanding of organizational mission, values, goals and consistent application of this knowledge. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Can interface with, and gain the respect of, stakeholders at all levels and roles in the company. Confident, energetic self-starter, with strong interpersonal skills. Comfortable with working shifts and a changing schedule. Good judgment and a sense of urgency, and has demonstrated commitment to high standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, customer service and business integrity.
