**Assignment:** - Part-time 0.78 Educational Assistant position - Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year - To provide support and assistance to diverse students in a grade 4-6 classroom setting **Qualifications and/or Assets:** - Experience working with students with complex academic and behavioral needs - Effective oral and written communication skills - Calm and patient approach to working with students and solving problems - Experience with complex behaviors would be considered an asset - Collaborative team player with the ability to take initiative and support a dynamic learning environment - Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset - Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality - Knowledge, understanding and experience with ASD, ADHD and social, emotional and behavioral needs would be considered an asset - Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills - Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented collaborative learning environment - Flexibility to work in a variety of programs **Please Note:** We appreciate the interest of all applicants, but advise that only candidates selected for an interview for this competition will be contacted.
