With the intent to offer the Medical Office Assistant program, WCC invites applications from eligible and experienced candidates for the position of Instructor for the Medical Office Assistant Program. Job Title: MOA Instructor (MOA Essentials Program) Responsibilities: Provide instruction and facilitate student learning according to the approved MOA curriculum when required. Prepare, administer, and mark assignments, tests, and exams to evaluate student progress. Maintain accurate and timely records of attendance, grades, and student evaluations in accordance with college policies. Advise students on program requirements, career opportunities, and practicum readiness. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment aligned with healthcare education best practices. Qualifications: Certificate or diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institution (MOA diploma, etc.) or, in the absence of a formal credential, at least 10 years of recent, relevant work experience as MOA or in a related role. A minimum of 2-4 years of recent, relevant work experience is required if holding a credential. Previous teaching experience in a post-secondary institution is preferred. Employment Type: Fixed-term contract from September 09, 2026, to July 31, 2027 (orientation may be scheduled before the expected start date) Schedule: In-person classes, Every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Work Location: In person, Maple Ridge

Requirements
