Clinical Associate, Master of Physical Therapy Primary Purpose: The overall purpose of this position is to support the planning and delivery of a high-quality Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) program. The primary dimensions associated with this position are in the areas of: 1) MPT clinical teaching and support of faculty in the development and implementation of high-quality curriculum, and 2) program administrative support including accreditation support, development, implementation and evaluation of new clinical placements, quality improvement initiatives and other committee work. This temporary position works independently, as part of an administrative team and in close collaboration with the Academic Lead Clinical Education and Community Affairs and MPT Program Chair. Nature of Work: Reporting to the Academic Lead Clinical Education and Community Affairs of the School of Rehabilitation Science, this position supports the MPT program with special emphasis on contributions to MPT teaching support; curriculum and quality assurance; MPT Accreditation support; and MPT clinical placement student supervision and other administrative assistance. Typical Duties or Accountabilities: MPT Clinical Teaching: Works with the Academic Lead Clinical Education and Community Affairs and MPT Program Chair to coordinate and deliver delegated MPT clinical teaching and learning activities. Supports PT faculty and students in the delivery of high-quality MPT programming. New Clinical Placement Development, Implementation & Evaluation Works with the Academic Lead Clinical Education and Community Affairs and clinical education unit team to develop, implement and evaluate new MPT student placement opportunities. MPT Program and School Admin related: Works with the MPT Program Chair to support MPT program quality assurance. Other assigned administrative tasks related to MPT program and quality assurance. Education: Entry to practice Physical Therapy degree and eligible for licensure with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist. Inter-professional collaborative practice experience. Teaching experience and/ or student supervision experience. Project management, quality improvement, and/or program administration experience in healthcare and/or education settings would be an asset. Experience with musculoskeletal practice areas preferred. Skills: Demonstrated clinical expertise, effective interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to adapt to change, organize work, set priorities, and work as part of a team; ability to show initiative; ability to work on multiple projects, in a diverse environment and to meet deadlines; self-motivated; ability to problem-solve effectively in an independent manner with excellent organizational and analytical skills, and computer literacy (Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word). The position is in scope of the Administrative and Supervisory Personnel Association (ASPA). Department: School of Rehabilitation Science Status: Term 12 months with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent Employment Group: ASPA Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:00-4:30pm Full Time Equivalent (FTE): 1.0 Salary: The salary range, based on 1.0 FTE, is $69,035.00 - 107,868.00 per annum. Requirements

Candidates must hold an entry-to-practice Physical Therapy degree and be eligible for licensure with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists. A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is required, along with experience in student supervision or teaching.
