As the Student Engagement Facilitator, you'll play a pivotal role in creating engaging experiences that empower students to thrive academically, personally, and professionally. Through the Fit for Business first year experience program, you will inspire students to build the skills, connections, and confidence needed to succeed at Toronto Metropolitan University and prepare for their future careers. In this highly collaborative role, you will design, deliver, and continuously enhance innovative student programming that fosters belonging, engagement, and success. Working closely with students, faculty, staff, and campus partners, you'll create meaningful opportunities that connect students with the resources, experiences, and support networks that help them reach their full potential. You will lead the planning, promotion, implementation, and evaluation of impactful programs and engagement initiatives, ensuring they are responsive to the evolving needs of a diverse student community. Through thoughtful stakeholder collaboration and student-centred programming, you'll help remove barriers to success while creating experiences that encourage participation, build community, and strengthen students' sense of belonging. Qualifications To help us learn more about you, please provide a cover letter and resume describing how you meet the following required qualifications: Completion of post-secondary degree in education, social work or related discipline. Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a post-secondary learning support role in student engagement, training, or program delivery. Demonstrated knowledge of computer applications (MS office, custom databases), Salesforce Sales and Marketing Clouds, and web/social media based applications. Experience implementing or delivering student support programs. Experience leading or facilitating programs, events or training sessions. Experience coordinating the work of other employees. Knowledge of adult learning processes. Knowledge of peer mentoring models. Knowledge of training and development theory and practice. Equivalent experience or a combination of equivalent experience and education may be accepted in place of education.
