The Meadows Home for Special Care is a 105 single room licensed not-for-profit nursing care facility located in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. We are registered as a Society in 1971 under Tidal View Manor. A new modern and homelike facility was built in 2011. Residential-scale ‘houses’ are complemented by larger public-scaled spaces with amenities and group activity rooms. Each house has access to its own open-concept kitchen/dining/living room and to landscaped courtyards.

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides medical, physical, and emotional care to residents in a long-term care facility. They also provide leadership and guidance to other team members while collaborating to ensure resident-centered care.
