As an expert, you will author complex, grounded tasks with clear ground-truth outputs and highly objective grading rubrics to shape how the next generation of AI reasons about mechanical design. 💰 Compensation & Structure 🔹 Rate: $80 USD per hour. 🔹 Format: 100% Remote, independent contractor role. Work strictly on your own schedule. 🔹 Commitment: Part-time, structured engagement requiring ~15–20 hours per week. 🔹 Payments: Processed weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered. 🎯 Core Responsibilities Develop and author highly complex, grounded tasks within the Mechanical & CAD domain to benchmark AI models. Establish clear, undeniable "ground-truth" outputs for visual document understanding tasks (e.g., blueprints, CAD renderings, schematics). Build robust, objective grading rubrics to evaluate AI-generated instruction following. Review AI outputs for deep technical accuracy and mechanical feasibility. ✅ Strict Eligibility & Credential Requirements ✔️ Operational Location: Candidates must be currently located in the United States 🇺🇸 or Canada 🇨🇦. ✔️ Domain Expertise: Strong professional or academic background in Mechanical Engineering, CAD design, and technical document comprehension. ✔️ Analytical Skills: High attention to detail with the ability to turn complex mechanical reasoning into clear, objective data for AI training. ✔️ Contractual Restrictions: We are unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time.

What you’ll do

Develop complex, grounded tasks and ground-truth outputs within the Mechanical and CAD domain to benchmark AI models. Create objective grading rubrics and review AI outputs for technical accuracy and mechanical feasibility.
