Job Type: Full Time, Seasonal Schedule: 10+ hours per day, 10 & 4 Monday to Thursday, OT after 10hr/day or 40hr/week Perks: Benefits, RRSP/TFSA Matching Location: Esso Refinery 3400 101 Ave Edmonton, AB - no direct access to public transportation Essential: Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions Requirements: Personal Reliable Vehicle CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support Valid Driver’s License (non GDL) Flat work experience Pre-employment: Drug and alcohol testing (urine-based test) Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation Carpenter Responsibilities: Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture. Carpenter Qualifications: Must hold a valid Journeyman Ticket for Carpentry for Journeyman Must have 3 years experience as a carpenter on a commercial or industrial site. Flatwork experience required. Experience with concrete formwork. Mix, pour, and spread construction materials. Perform construction activities. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades as required. CSTS-09, and H2S Awareness training is an asset. Sureway Construction Group is an equal opportunity employer. What you’ll do

The role involves executing carpentry tasks such as erecting and dismantling concrete forms, ramps, and catwalks. The candidate must also promote and adhere to the company's safety culture and programs.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid Journeyman Ticket for Carpentry and have at least 3 years of commercial or industrial experience. A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and successful completion of drug and alcohol testing are required.
