Job summary

We are a seasonal property with positions starting May 6, 2026 until October 2026. The ideal candidate for this position would be able to start May 21st. For our international applicants, please note we do not have any LMIA spots available at this time. We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable individual to join our housekeeping team at our hotel in the Canadian Rockies. This Relief (Float) position is designed to cover scheduled days off across multiple positions in the housekeeping department, including laundry, public area cleaning, and guest service support. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, learning multiple roles, and staying active—no two days will look exactly the same. This role follows a structured rotating schedule. Team members will work a mix of all three positions each week and should expect to work approximately 1–2 shifts per week in each area: Laundry, Public Area & Housekeeping Attendant, and Guest Services/Laundry Support. This rotation is a core requirement of the role. Responsibilities: Laundry Duties (1–2 shifts per week, 9am-5pm shift): Collect and sort all soiled laundry from guest rooms and public areas Identify stains and apply proper cleaning chemicals and techniques Operate washing and drying machines efficiently Fold and store all laundered items neatly and accurately Maintain inventory of linens, towels, and laundry supplies Report damaged or missing items to the supervisor Maintain cleanliness of laundry room and equipment Public Area & Housekeeping Support (1–2 shifts per week, 6am-2pm shift): Clean and maintain public areas including restaurant, gift shop, and common spaces (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming) Clean and sanitize public washrooms; restock supplies such as soap and paper products Assist housekeepers by removing dirty linens and garbage from guest rooms Make beds and assist with room turnovers on busy days Clean and sanitize staff kitchen and back-of-house areas Guest Services & Laundry Support (1–2 shifts per week, 2pm-10pm shift): Assist with general guest-facing cleanliness and presentation standards Respond to guest requests when required (e.g., linens, firewood, rollaway beds, other supplies) Support laundry operations Assist other departments as needed to ensure smooth daily operations General Duties: Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly Follow all health and safety procedures and guidelines Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Previous housekeeping or laundry experience is preferred, but not required (training provided) Must be comfortable rotating between all three roles on a weekly basis—this is not a single position role Positive attitude toward a dynamic and changing work environment Ability to work independently and within a team Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Good time management and organizational skills Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a remote location Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs Compensation & Employee Perks: Wage: $17 plus bonuses We offer trips in our staff van to help you explore the park.
