Job summary

Imagine arriving to work at a stunning slope-side hotel after lapping one of our three mountains on your skis or board. We are looking to recruit Bell Attendant-Ski Valets for the upcoming winter. The Bell Attendant-Ski Valet plays an integral role in the Guest Services Team, whose main objective is establishing a positive experience and being well looked after from arrival to departure. As the first and last impression of the hotel, this high-visibility profiled department carries a special responsibility. The Bell Attendant-Ski Valet may be stationed inside or outside the entrance to the hotel to greet guests with a warm, welcoming smile. Loading and unloading luggage from vehicles, Bell Attendant-Ski Valets answer general inquiries about the hotel and resort. The Bell Attendant transports luggage to the guest room for arrivals, transports luggage for departing guests to the hotel entrance or into temporary storage and provides arriving guests with a hotel orientation. The individual may also be responsible for car jockeying a guest’s vehicle upon arrival and departure. Compensation Information: $18.25 per hour Physical Requirement: Medium; work activities involve handling loads up to 20kg; predominantly in an indoor setting. This job position requires physical presence at the designated location. A working knowledge of hotel systems; specifically, Opera would be a strong asset. Proficiency with computer systems, such as Microsoft Office. Professional, well organized, and delights in providing exceptional guest service by anticipating guest needs with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to frequently lift up to 50-75 pounds (23-34kg). Frequently standing and walking throughout shift with occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling and ascending stairs. Operations Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for delivering a range of guest-facing services seamlessly and professionally, including, but not limited to: Greet guests entering the lobby in a welcoming manner. Luggage assistance for storage/pickup/running to vacant inspected rooms. Valet service for seasonal adventure equipment (Bikes & Skis). Valet parking for guest vehicles throughout guest’s stay. Monitor Parking lot for SPG guests to ensure it is secure & clean. Why join us? Requirements

Requires previous experience in a front office or customer-facing role and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Proficiency in computer systems and knowledge of Opera PMS is considered a strong asset.
