Job summary

Sinai Health is looking for a File Clerk to support our Fracture Clinic at Mount Sinai Hospital. The File Clerk is an integral part of the busy, dynamic, and growing Fracture Clinic at Mount Sinai Hospital. In this role, you will be expected to exercise sound judgment and independence while managing the day-to-day administrative and research activities. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to quality customer service, applying excellent problem solving and communication skills to ensure the success of the department. In this role you will: Be responsible for administrative functions of employee files Organize and sort high volume of paperwork Maintain effective communication through various communication tools (i.e. email, telephone, etc.) with various internal partners to compile and action daily tasks as per area requirement Work as a member of the HR team, supporting team as required Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required Job Requirements: Mandatory Successful completion of a high school diploma College diploma or in progress of completing diploma with preference given to those who have graduated from an Office Administration program Experience in an office setting, or administrative experience 6 months with experience administration and filing Skills and Knowledge Demonstrated ability to work in the Microsoft Access, Excel, Word Must be diligent while demonstrating strong attention to detail Ability to work as an effectively member of a team or independently Effective interpersonal skills, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task Effective communications skills (oral and written) and ability to maintain confidentiality If this sounds like you and you feel ready to build your career within healthcare apply now and let us know why you’d be a great addition to our team.
