What you’ll do: • Answer and triage phone calls throughout the day. • Retrieve faxed or electronic prescriber’s orders, prescriptions, or prescription refill requests. • Process medication refills on the pharmacy management software (Kroll). • Perform outbound calls to obtain clarifications from clients. • Sort, file, and follow up with the pharmacy's paperwork to ensure regulatory compliance. • Use the pharmacy management software (KROLL) to ensure relevant documents are printed and delivered to clients. • Coordinate with other pharmacies to mediate prescription transfers. • Support other pharmacy teams, as required. What you’ll need: • No experience required in Pharmacy • Ability to identify, analyze and quickly mediate problems and issues that arise • Excellent customer service skills and a professional and friendly attitude to quickly develop rapport with clients over the phone • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Self-motivated with a passion for providing high-quality client services and building relationships • Excellent oral and written communication and teamwork skills • Ability to take initiative and learn independently • High attention to detail • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks To help you stand out, any or all the following are considered an asset: • An Undergraduate degree from an accredited university with a focus in the areas of science and/or healthcare • Pharmacy-related diploma/certificate • Kroll software experience • Pharmacy experience, with long-term care setting experience preferred Employment Type: Full time Type of Role: Temporary (Fixed Term) Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. recognizes Canada's diversity as a source of national pride and strength.
