Facility Maintenance Technician Contract role Rotational shifts Perform routine inspections of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, Roof, structural, Facility( washrooms, walkway, parking area ) Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. Respond to breakdowns and repair issues in a timely manner Maintain and repair: HVAC systems lighting Plumbing systems Facility( washrooms, walkway, parking area ), scissor lifts, boom lift, forklift. Ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely Monitor building condition including walls, floors, roofing, and doors Conduct minor civil work (painting, patching, repairs) Ensure cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations Identify and report potential hazards Follow lockout/tagout and safe work procedures Maintain maintenance logs and records Report recurring issues and recommend improvements Support audits and inspections Uses a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment in performing duties Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned The role requires 2 years of facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Exposure to high and low temperatures Fumes or airborne particles Moving mechanical parts and vibration Loud noise level Note : This is a full time position, hired through third party. #maymed

Requirements

The position requires at least 2 years of facilities maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Candidates must be capable of working in conditions involving loud noise, vibrations, and exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
