Rocky Mountain School District No. 6 is now accepting external applications for: Secondary Teacher, Windemere Zone Temporary, part-time (0.3 FTE) Effective Immediately to June 30, 2027 Successful Applicant Must hold or is eligible for a BC Teaching Certificate; have a university teaching major, or its equivalent, directly related to the teaching position; additional qualification as appropriate for specialist positions; have successful teaching experience at the appropriate school level and teaching subject area(s). have commitment to and capacity for collaboration to meet the needs of all students; have a strong repertoire of assessment and instructional practices and approaches to meet diverse learning needs; have demonstrated effective communication with students, colleagues and parents; have excellent interpersonal skills; have a knowledge of and a willingness to work with current technology. have a commitment and capacity to collaborate with district staff to promote positive mental health and social and emotional wellbeing. Requirements

Applicants must hold or be eligible for a British Columbia Teaching Certificate and have a university teaching major, or equivalent, directly related to the position. The successful applicant should have relevant teaching experience, strong assessment and instructional practices, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to use current technology and collaborate to support students.
