Cook Location: Barrhead, Alberta, Canada Job Type: Full-Time (Temporary) Pay Rate: CAD $14.58 – $20.95 per hour (based on experience) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team in Barrhead, Alberta. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing quality meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and following food safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen. Follow food safety and proper food storage procedures. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team. Comply with workplace health and safety regulations. Requirements Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role. Knowledge of food preparation and food safety practices. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling. Food Safety Certification is an asset or willingness to obtain one. Work Schedule Afternoon Shift: 12:30 PM – 8:00 PM 30-minute unpaid meal break. Schedule includes 3–4 shifts per week. Additional Information In-person interview required. Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) required. Free parking available.

The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to specific recipes and quality standards. They must also maintain a sanitary kitchen environment and adhere to all food safety and workplace health regulations.
