The following qualifications are preferred for the Learning Support Teacher: Minimum 5 years classroom teacher experience 1-year educational background or experience in one of the following areas: Learning Supports Inclusive Education Special Education Disability Studies Pre-employment Requirements Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at . The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment.
