ROCK REACH OUT CENTRE FOR KIDS

ROCK is located on the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississauga’s of the Credit. Acknowledging the lands that we gather on is part of the overall plan that we collectively embrace to meet obligations under the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s calls to action. Halton Region, as we know it today, is rich in history and modern traditions of many First Nations and the Metis. From the Anishinaabe to the Haudenosaunee and the Metis. We would like to acknowledge that ROCK is located on the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississauga’s of the Credit. As settlers, we are grateful for the opportunity to meet here and we thank all of the generations of people who have taken care of this land for thousands of years.
