Job summary

The Financial Accountant is responsible for general accounting tasks related to period end closing, SOX / financial statement audit support, and other Financial Operations accounting related work and compliance. Working closely with the Operational and Corporate Finance Teams, the Financial Accountant will support key initiatives including enhancing business processes and the optimization of the close process. What you’ll do

The Financial Accountant manages general accounting tasks related to period-end closing and provides support for SOX and financial statement audits. They collaborate with Operational and Corporate Finance teams to optimize close processes and enhance business processes.

Requirements

Candidates should ideally have 3-5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role with advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Strong bookkeeping competencies and mathematical skills are required, with Oracle experience considered an asset.
